Terms of service

To be an authorized affiliate of www.shopsafety.ca, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained in this agreement.

Reserved Rights

shopSafety.ca reserves the right to terminate an affiliate's shopSafety.ca account at any time with immediate effect and not pay the commission if it's found that the affiliate is doing any of the Prohibited Usage listed below. shopSafety.ca reserves the right to change the rate of commission and/or the products included in the scheme, although we will not do so without giving prior notice to existing affiliates.

Payment of Commission

shopSafety.ca will pay 10% commission on the net revenue (excludes sales tax, chargebacks or refunds) of sales of any shopSafety.ca product that is identified as resulting from a click through from an affiliate's site. Payments will be made within 30 days of the end of each calendar quarter. Payment will be by PayPal. Please ensure you can accept PayPal payments. If the amount of commission is less than $50 CAD, then the payment will be carried over until the next quarter. If a customer has been referred from more than one site, commission will only be paid to the original referrer. The affiliate's shopSafety.ca account will at all times show details of commission due and commission paid to date, number of click throughs and downloads resulting from referrals. No method of referral is recognised other than a click through on a link from an affiliate's site that uses the link URL provided under the affiliate program and that has been recorded by the affiliate tracking. Commission is not paid on purchases made by an affiliate on their own behalf.

Prohibited Usage

Displaying the link on any site that, at our discretion, is judged offensive or likely to bring shopSafety.ca into disrepute. Without limitation this includes sites which: contain sexually explicit or any indecent, obscene or clearly offensive material promote any illegal activity promote violence promote discrimination Any other method of promotion that, in our judgement, is likely to bring shopSafety.ca into disrepute. Without limitation this includes spamming the link url, and any anonymous or unsolicited emailing of the link url.

Making any untrue, misleading or denigrating representations about the shopSafety.ca products or shopSafety.ca.

Use of shopSafety.ca trademarks in domain names or in any context other than what is reasonable to describe the products on the affiliate site or email.
